About Our Client
Located within the Eastern suburbs, our client is a highly recognised industry leader within the retail industry and hold a strong market presence nationally. Our client has gone through significant growth and have expanded nationwide. As a result of going through a busy period, an exceptional opportunity has arisen for a driven Credit Controller to join their fun and friendly finance team on a temporary basis.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following duties;
- Bank allocation of cheques / direct deposits
- Weekly, monthly and additional invoicing
- Month end reporting and identifying areas for process improvements
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Processing credit claims
- Managing customer queries.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have at least 2-3 years experience within Credit and have retail industry experience. You will be proactive, be attentive to detail and have the ability to work smoothly in a team environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills will be essential to succeed in this position. A proven track record of Pronto, or any other large ERP system and intermediate MS Excel skills will be considered highly advantageous.
