What led you to join PageGroup?

I was approached directly by my manager while I was working in a boutique recruitment firm. I was open to a new opportunity so it came at the perfect time.

Tell us about your career so far.

I joined the business in September 2014 and sat within Michael Page Technology in Victoria. 12 months on I was promoted to Senior Consultant. Seven months after this I was promoted to my Manager position.

Tell us a little about the transition from another recruitment firm to PageGroup.

Moving from a boutique to a large corporate firm was a great move for me. The learning and development on offer allowed me to become a much better recruitment consultant. The culture and atmosphere in the office is great.

There is a misconception that Page has unrealistic KPI targets. I have never found these an issue and I find my manager to always be understanding of my work load.

What is most rewarding about your job?

Finding someone a job they love after they have been searching for a period of time. They are often so grateful and thankful for your work. I also find it rewarding seeing new consultants you mentor and train, rise and become successful in their own right.

What advice would you give anyone thinking about joining PageGroup?

Be prepared for hard work and some challenging times which will require resilience. On the flip side, be prepared for celebrating the wins and working in a fun environment.
