Job Description

As a member of the Accounts Payable team, your main tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Monitor the Accounts Payable mailbox and distribute work and ensure the team responds promptly
  • Processing creditor payments via EFT and urgent/daily cheques including overseas invoices and hard disbursements
  • Ensuring quality control is maintained for creditor invoices including, correct coding, authorisation and ATO compliance
  • Ensuring all creditor invoices are paid in a timely manner and as per creditor payment terms
  • Proactive in resolving issues that may arise with regard to payment of creditor invoices, including where required providing solutions to the AP Team Leader
  • Responding and resolving internal and external queries promptly
  • Monitor and follow up cheques to ensure all are presented or cancelled in a timely manner
  • Distribution and reconciliation of petty cash in accordance with the Petty Cash Policy

The Successful Applicant

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • An analytical mind and a keen eye for detail
  • A minimum of four years experience in Accounts Payable
  • Administration of a Corporate Credit Card Program
  • Administration and/or use of an on-line banking system
  • Experience within professional services preferred
  • Immediately Available candidates will be preferred
