Job Description
eporting directly to the Shared Transactions Manager, the main duties will include:
Conduct administration and accounting practices in accordance with company policies and procedures
Accurately and efficiently process accounts payable invoices, monitoring the transactions to ensure integrity from start to finish
Thoroughly checking of ABN numbers against invoices to supplier database at point of receipting, invoice entry & payment generation to ensure accuracy at all times and ATO compliancy.
Daily reconciliation of accounts payable invoices from email and internal mail
Match invoices to delivery dockets via email on a daily basis
Interbranch and Intercompany statement reconciliation
Receipting of goods and services
Immediate receipting actioned in a timely fashion
Ensure appropriate coding of invoices
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have an eagerness to learn and a drive for challenge. They will have some interest in pursuing a career in accounts and have the attitude to face every new challenge with a smile on their face. Technically - they'll ideally have strong knowledge of online banking processes, understanding of tax invoices, understanding of GST Tax and be confident with MS Office Suite and Excel.
