Job Description

As the Collections Officer, you will be self-motivated and results orientated, you will be an effective communicator with understanding of clients going through changes in their circumstances.

Your key accountabilities are:

  • Inbound and outbound collection calls whilst adhering to our client's collection procedures and policy guidelines
  • Ensure all customer negotiations, discussions and/or actions are conducted within relevant acts/guidelines
  • Negotiate appropriate resolutions and follow through across account re-connections
  • Manage escalated customer calls within policy guidelines
  • Conduct robust review of assigned member accounts/ credit profile and complete effective, systematic detailed analysis of financial statements/information

  • Strong communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills within a credit / collection's environment is required
  • Solid written, listening and communication skills
  • Ability to add value to the overall performance of the team and its processes
  • Investigative skills
  • Dispute resolution abilities
