About Our Client

Our Client offers an online contractor and supplier management platform of data-driven products and services that help manage risk and strengthen relationships for customers in the Energy and Manufacturing industries. By connecting Hiring Clients with qualified contractors and suppliers, they provide the potential to grow businesses and improve workplace safety. Due to continued growth across the globe, they are looking to add to their Customer Service Team here in the Sydney CBD. The current team is staffed by experienced professionals who are committed to providing world-class service, hands- on training and best practices to support the success of all customers.

Job Description

You will be responsible for managing customer work flows and the day-to-day processes of Contractor Development. Specifically, you will:

* Proactively service and support contractor/ supplier customers

* Conduct training on software products via phone, web based and face to face meetings

* Participate in the implementation of sales and marketing projects

* Field incoming calls, handle contractor customer inquiries and troubleshoot problems

* Assist with CRM testing

* Handle customer account management functions, including invoicing and collections

* Proactively analyse customer service processes and bring forth ideas for continuous improvement

* Apply customer-centric consulting approaches to ensure the success of customer inquiries

* Other tasks and projects as directed by supervisors

The Successful Applicant

You will be a highly motivated and driven Customer Service professional who is a self-starter. You should be able to work well as part of a close-knit team and be willing to assist with all day-to-day operations inherent to a rapidly growing organisation. You will possess:

* A bachelor's degree from an accredited university and /or equivalent work experience

* Proficient computer skills and experience working with online software systems particularly but not limited to the MS Office Suite

* The desire to work with people and consistently engage in verbal and written interactions over email and phone

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to discuss and communicate the client's product in an expert capacity

* Ability to de-escalate calls using critical thinking and soft skills

* Solid and proven problem-solving ability

* Demonstrated high attention to detail

* Demonstrated personal initiative

* Strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task

* Excellent customer service orientation

* Demonstrated capability to work in a team environment

* Demonstrated outcome focused communication abilities

* Genuine desire to progress into a sales development role

* Fluency in English is a must.
