Our client is a successful, locally owned company that trades industrial food and beverage products into local and international markets. Based in South Yarra, they are looking for an enthusiastic person with great communication skills to join their team as a Customer Service and Logistics Coordinator. This permanent, full-time role is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who enjoys a fast-paced customer service environment, where you can continue to grow and develop your career.

Job Description

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring customer orders are delivered in full and on time. The responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Order processing, monitoring, and management.
  • Communicating with customers around expected delivery dates.
  • Arranging warehouse stock releases.
  • Liaising with stakeholders including warehouses and transport companies to ensure delivery requirements are met.
  • Checking, requesting, and processing documentation.
  • Sample dispatch and record keeping.
  • Relationship management with service providers.
  • Liaising with team members around stock availability and forecasts.
  • Providing support to the sales team and other teams as required.
  • Other admin duties as required.

The Successful Applicant

Ideally, you'll be a strong team player with excellent communication skills and be able to work autonomously when required. This is a fast-paced role that includes customer service, logistics, and administrative responsibilities.

  • Proactive with exceptional customer service skills.
  • IT savvy and competent across the MS Office suite.
  • Accurate with extraordinary attention to detail.
  • Highly organised and a fast learner.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and varying work demands.
  • Background in logistics, supply chain, customer service or sales support.
