Job Description

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your responsibilities as Payroll Accountant includes, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with month-end payroll reconciliations and reporting
  • Reviewing pay runs and assisting the payroll officer with ad-hoc enquiries
  • Data analysis through integration of multiple reports from different systems
  • Develop, implement and maintain payroll internal controls
  • Ensure statutory compliance requirements of superannuation, PAYG, payroll tax, ABS, while liaising with external accountants

  • Driven and willing to learn
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience in a similar role
