About Our Client
Our client is a highly regarded professional services organisation with brand-new offices located in the heart of the Melbourne CBD. This is a newly created position and due to a recent expansion, they are currently seeking an experienced candidate to join the Payroll Team on a full time basis.
Job Description
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, your daily duties will include but not limited to:
* Process end-to-end payrolls accurately and in a timely manner
* Process employee terminations
* Process long term absences such as parental leave and career breaks
* Calculate termination or redundancy quotes
* Process PAYG payments to the ATO
* Manually input timesheets for time bank and additional hours
* Monitor claims (overpayments), follow up and write off
* Assist with payroll queries
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar end-to-end payroll position, along with exceptional written and oral communication skills. They will have strict accuracy skills as well as a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate must be able to understand all aspects of terminations including ETPs and be able to accurately calculate a redundancy or termination quote. Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle queries from employees of all levels will highly advantageous. The ideal candidate will have intermediate computer skills with the ability to use relevant payroll systems such as SAP.
