About Our Client
Our client is an instantly recognisable retailer with a presence across ANZ. Known for their high levels of customer service and cutting edge products. Due to an increase in workload they are now seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their high performing team.
Job Description
Reporting into the Payroll manager your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Fortnightly Payroll functions which will, payroll tax, and work cover
- Processing new starters and leavers
- Updating and maintaining payroll records
- Liaising with internal and external staff on payroll related queries
- Interpreting an award
- Assisting with month end preparation along with relevant reporting
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate must have the following experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Payroll Officer
- Proven time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of PayGlobal is essential
- High level of initiative and pro-activeness
- Attention to detail is essential
