Job Description

Your key roles & responsibilities will include:

  • Leave processing

  • Responsible for running the payroll process end to end on a weekly basis for two groups (casual and full time) and fortnightly for management overhead staff

  • Expense claim processing

  • Responsible for resolving payroll enquiries

  • Maintenance of our Time & Attendance system (Deputy) and Payroll system (Xero) to ensure any updates are made correctly and on time

  • Maintenance of internal documents and folders as required

  • Processing superannuation payments quarterly

  • Processing monthly child support payments

  • Managing annual WorkCover declarations

  • Managing staff payments related to WorkCover

  • Tracking medical costs for staff related to WorkCover and arranging reimbursements

  • Labour hire invoice checking

The Successful Applicant

This is a broad role which will require an adaptable individual who is willing to roll up their sleeves and get involved in various aspects of the business. The key skills that we are on the look-out for are listed below:

  • 2 years + of end-to-end Payroll experience in an autonomous role, processing high volume payrolls of 200+ employees

  • Sound knowledge of HR, Payroll and Leave practices, procedures and legislation

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with intermediate proficiency in Word and Excel

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects and deliver against tight deadlines
