A team that’s diverse
At PageGroup we know that a diverse team brings different perspectives and insight to our business, generating creativity, problem-solving and sustainability that wouldn’t otherwise be possible.
Our inclusion promise creates opportunities for everyone. OpenPage is about recognising and appreciating that every individual is different and helps us make sure our people are comfortable bringing their true selves to work.
It includes a broad range of activities, networks and memberships.
Women succeed at work
In 2012 we launched [email protected] with the aim of improving our gender balance at all levels across our business. Since then, we have:
- Introduced our Global mentoring programme
- Launched our [email protected] global minisite
- Undertaken Benchmarking – received Opportunity Now Silver Award
- Carried out policy reviews
- Partnered with Smart Works
- Regularly publish case studies/role models - ‘Real People and Real Stories’
- Signed the ‘Voluntary Code of Conduct for Executive Search Firms’
- Introduced Everywoman female leadership programme
- Created [email protected] ‘Yammer’ network
- Joined Women on Boards
- Enrolled Executive Board Director and UK MD, Olly Watson, on the ‘Men as Agents of Change’ Working Group, set up to support the work of the Women’s Business Council
- Annual global campaigns to celebrate ‘International Women’s Day’ to profile our successful and inspiring women globally
- Taken part in some ground-breaking research conducted by Employers Network for Equality & Inclusion which highlighted Page Personnel as having excellent levels of inclusive leadership and trust in its leaders
- Signed up to the ‘Think Act Report’

Sexual orientation and gender identity don’t matter
In 2015 we launched [email protected], supporting our LGBT+ employees, recognising that people perform better when they can be themselves. Through [email protected] we have:
- Become a Stonewall Global Diversity Champion
- Participated in the Stonewall ‘Starting out Guide’
- Worked with universities to help us attract the best talent - #PrideAtPage best talent - #PrideAtPage
- Run CV workshops and skills sessions for local LGBT+ university students
- Achieved benchmarks - Placed 153 on the Stonewall Workplace Quality Index 2017
- Attended Stonewall Conferences
- Created case studies - allies and LGBT
- Run Focus groups
- Reviewed and rewritten policies
- Created [email protected] ‘Yammer’ network
- Appointed senior sponsors and champions
- Run a campaign in June 2016 to support LGBT Pride Month

Families and carers come first
We launched [email protected] in May 2015 to provide all parents & carers at PageGroup encouragement and support with resources, information and understanding through every step of their journey as parents. We have:
- Engaged an external company [email protected] and introduced a parental support program that includes coaching and online resources for eligible employees and their manager.
- Introduced a pre and post maternity coaching programme
- Introduced Global maternity guidelines
- Conducted surveys with our parents & carers population
- Launched [email protected] intranet site and ‘Yammer’ network
- Regularly published case studies/role models using our internal communications tool
- Improved our paternity policy
- Introduced specific questions in ‘Have Your Say’ surveys for parents & carers
- Appointed senior sponsors and champions
- Signed the #workingforward pledge – making the workplace the best it can be for pregnant women and new mothers
[email protected] – Disability doesn’t hold you back
In July 2016 we launched [email protected] to demonstrate our commitment to disability and removing all barriers: physical, technological and attitudinal. It will allow us to effectively communicate with all employees, clients and candidates so that necessary adjustments can be made for anyone with a disability.
- First recruitment company to sign the Time To Change pledge – to end mental health discrimination
- Real People/Real Stories of employees whose lives are affected by disability
